LGBTQIA+ Supporting Your Young Queer Person [KATOOMBA]

This workshop will explore your greatest challenges and equip you with tools to better understand how to support your young person. Together, we will explore language, advocacy and understanding in a respectful, inclusive, safe space where there is no wrong question. ABOUT CARER GATEWAY: Come meet the Hub Team from Carer Gateway. Our friendly staff are happy to have a yarn about the supports available to you as a Carer or supporter of a loved one. We recognise what you are doing for others, so come learn how we can support you. Carer Gateway Wellways recognises a Carer as a family member or friend who supports someone living with mental health challenges, addiction, a long-term injury or illness, disability, or frailty. We offer FREE supports to carers, including counselling, coaching, financial coaching, in-person peer support groups, emergency respite, and more.
