Slow Dating is a brand new dating series designed to give you multiple opportunities to connect with other singles, in different environments. Like our sapphic smart speed dating events, it combines matchmaking tech with speed dating. Instead of one night, you will have five events to keep your options open while you enjoy a range of different activities with other singles. Throughout the series, you’ll have continued access to the matching system, including the guest list and compatibility scores, and you’ll have opportunities to update your preferences after events. Mutual matches will be revealed at the end of the series on 29 November 2026. The five events: • Speed Dating on Tuesday 10 November 2026 from 6.30pm to 9pm: The Rose of Australia, Erskineville • Barefoot Bowls on Saturday 14 November 2026 from 2pm - 4pm: Inner West location • Sapphic Trivia Night on Tuesday 17 November 2026 from 6.30pm to 9pm - The Rose of Australia, Erskineville • Games Night (pool table + arcade + board games) with canapés provided on Wednesday 25 November 2026 from 6.30pm - the Glebe Hotel, Glebe • Dykadellic Dance Party on Saturday 28 November 2026 from 7pm to midnight - The Marlborough Hotel, Newtown This event series is for sapphics only - lesbian, queer women, bisexual women and non-binary people. BEFORE THE EVENTS You will complete our compatibility questionnaire. Your responses will help us understand your dating preferences, relationship goals, personal values and interests. The questionnaire was designed by us, with recent updates to cater for the long dating series. It deals with the things that matter in sapphic relationships including emotional pace, routine preferences and family. If you have already attended one of our smart speed dating events, you can update your existing profile. The “no repeat date” guarantee will continue and you can contact us at any time to discuss the matching or technology. 1. SPEED DATING Tuesday 10 November 2026 at The Rose of Australia, Erskineville Check in starts at 6.30. Dating rounds will be underway by 7pm. Event ends at 9pm. Venue remains open if you want to kick on. The first event is a hosted speed-dating night, using our matchmaking software. Expect 8-10 speed dates, and time to mingle with the group. After each date, you will privately mark a heart (yes) or no in the webapp. Our host will guide you through the rounds, and there are question prompts on every table. Instead of revealing your mutual matches results at the end of the night, we will use them to create groups and teams for the next event. Throughout the night - Live Guest List. Your webapp shows a live compatibility score with everyone in the room - including your dates. This score is calculated based on your responses to the compatibility questionnaire. You can tap a heart on anyone on the guest list at any time. If it’s mutual, it will be revealed to you at the end of the five event dating series. You will have opportunities to re-visit your matches throughout the series. 2. BAREFOOT LAWN BOWLS Saturday 14 November 2026 at an inner city lawn bowls club (TBC) Arrive at 1.45om for a 2pm game start. Event ends at 4pm. Bar and dining area remains open if you want to kick on. You’ll be greeted by your host when you arrive and given your team information. After that, the event is deliberately relaxed and self-directed. Enjoy barefoot lawn bowls, move around, mingle and get to know your team at your own pace. We will have allocated seating areas. Any food or drinks purchased separately. The event is not structured however your host will be at the venue and available to discuss any tech or matching. 3. TRIVIA NIGHT Tuesday 17 November 2026 at The Rose of Australia, Erskineville. Event starts at 6.30pm. Trivia will be underway by 7pm. Event ends at 8.30pm. Venue will remain open if you want to kick on. A fun, hosted trivia night featuring lesbian and sapphic-themed questions alongside general trivia. Your team will be allocated using information from the matching system, while still allowing you to meet people beyond your immediate matches. Dinner and drinks are purchased separately 4. GAMES NIGHT Wednesday 25 November 2026 at The Glebe Hotel, Glebe Event starts at 6.30pm. Event ends at 9pm. Venue remains open if you want to kick on. This is a relaxed games night in a private area. Arrive to be greeted by a host and shown to your allocated area Enjoy canapés, conversation, board games, fuse ball and pool, with plenty of opportunity to mingle and reconnect. Canapés are included in your ticket price. Drinks are purchased separately. 5. DYKADELLIC DANCE PARTY Saturday 28 November 2026 at The Marlborough Hotel, Newtown Event starts at 7pm.
