House of Hymns: Karaoke Backed by a Live Choir

Sing pop & queer anthems backed by a live 12-person choir. In the House of Hymns, we celebrate the mediocre, the brave and the magnificent. Back after a sold-out launch show, House of Hymns is a new kind of karaoke night — performers sing pop and queer anthems backed by a live 12-person choir. Fun, uplifting, and just a little bit unhinged. We honour Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Robyn, Chappell Roan, George Michael, Lady Gaga and more. This is a space of devotion to the pop diva and we treat them with the reverence they deserve. Come along for a feel-good night and experience songs you know and love, in a whole new way. Want to perform on stage? Register in advance so our choir can prepare your offering. This guarantees your spot on the night. We also save a handful of spots on the night for the spontaneous (but they go fast!). See our FAQs below for the how-to. We have an allocation of tickets for First Nations Community. Please contact the host for details.
